BRMS Parent Teacher Organization

The BRMS Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) was establish in 2010 by a group of parents and teachers as a support to our Blue Ridge Montessori community. The organization is the primary vehicle through which parents, grandparents, and extended family members have an opportunity to become an active role in the BRMS community.

The motto of the PTO is “caring through action” and the PTO strives to uphold the motto through engaged support of BRMS’ mission and the school community as a whole. The staff and children benefit from the extra support given by the parents, both concretely and in spirit. The goal of the PTO is to provide parents with a unique opportunity to become truly involved in their child’s education, and thus creating a true sense of community for all the children, staff, and parents at BRMS.
